Job Description

Ashfield Healthcare are proud to be working with Onbone to recruit a Player Manager lead the team of Territory Managers and to cover the M62 Corridor and Birmingham territory in secondary care. This is a new and exciting position selling innovative Casting Technology, which boasts multiple advantages over historic and current standard of care. The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive package and will play a crucial part in shaping the casting market moving forwards.

Key Responsibilities

Management Responsibilities

  • Daily 1st Line management to effectively manage, motivate and lead direct report performance and development.
  • Clearly and consistently communicate business goals, targets and KPIs to direct reports.  
  • Analysing performance data and forming winning strategies to deliver KPIs. 
  • To ensure the highest level of service and productivity is consistently delivered by your direct reports. 
  • Frequent and regular employee coaching and performance monitoring with each direct report. 

Sales Responsibilities

  • Drive depth of product usage in existing accounts
  • Achieve agreed budgets, focused on sales growth.
  • Support and advise the physician on the correct use of casting technology.
  • Prepare business plans to identify specific targets and to project the contacts to be made.
  • Take a wide organisational view of selling and managing accounts, with sufficient knowledge of competitors and their products

Essential Skills

  • Experienced medical/healthcare representative, with evidence of previous sales success
  • Previous experience in educating healthcare professionals – product demonstrations
  • Ideally previous management experience, with a minimum requirement of mentoring/coaching experience with demonstrable outcomes.
  • Driven, and motivated by the opportunity to work as part of a small team and make this product a success
  • Strong selling skills, great work ethic
  • Willing to cover a large geography as required
