Job Description

Ashfield Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Business Manager for the Clinical Business Unit. The main purpose for this position is to manage the Contact Centre Team and support the operations functions to ensure best possible service is provided to our clients whilst working closely with the Project Manager. The role will also involve providing reports to the client on the progress of the project and communicating ideas to improve and develop the account.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1st line management to the Contact Centre teams, to lead and motivate each individual member of Contact Centre ensure effective delivery of contractual metrics and key performance indicators as agreed with individual clients
  • Effectively implement HR policies and processes across the team, including probationary and mid-year reviews, appraisals and performance management where appropriate
  • To identify, in conjunction with the Training Department and Project Manager training and development needs
  • To design and manage reward and recognition schemes for contact centre teams
  • Coaching and motivation on the phone with each individual on a 1-1 basis
  • Analyzing and collating weekly feedback from all teams
  • Integrating new starters into the company
  • To ensure that company and group, policies and standard operating procedures, are adhered to within your area of responsibility
  • To support the company’s employee engagement strategy through consistent performance management and talent identification for future roles within the business in line with company guidelines
  • To ensure all business operations comply with company standards and the relevant codes governing each particular client account (e.g. ABPI or NMC), and to contribute to the monitoring of compliance with such codes across the business
  • To provide a high quality, informative monthly report which adds value to the client
  • To communicate progress vs KPI’s regularly with all clients (weekly where necessary)
  • To work closely with the appropriate Business Unit Director to develop strategies, ideas and solutions to develop the account
  • To fully understand the Client’s strategy, direction and product

  • Strong organisational and administration skills including knowledge of windows based software (especially Excel skills)
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Strong presentation skills
  • To attend relevant internal and client meetings
  • To provide support and cover for the Project Manager
