Job Description

Ashfield have a fantastic opportunity, to join a team of Key Account Managers, covering the North East in an exciting new Nationwide Team Build. Our client is already well established and well respected in the industry in the field of Opthalmology.

If you have experience of dealing with CCGs, Hospital Consultants, KOL’s and are able to demonstrate the following, then we would really like to hear from you.

We would also be keen to hear from aspiring KAM’s who demonstrate Drive & Ambition and are looking to move into a full KAM role.

Key Responsibilities

  • To promote and sell the company’s establish brands; Protect and Grow.  
  • Identify key opion leaders to be developed as strong advocates for the product.
  • To develop and maintain both internal and external relationships
  • To target key centres and priority accounts to develop the business
  • To continually achieve and exceed assigned targets within the company

Essential Skills

  • Achieving success within a multi stakeholder model, using Key Account Management techniques to effect changes in policy and practice.
  • A history of delivering sales results and hitting or over achieving targets.
  • Commercial astuteness driven by sales results.
  • A quantifiable experience & understanding of NHS structure for service redesign, reimbursement, funding, guideline processes and NHS policies.
  • Experience of Key Opinion Leader interaction/influence.
  • Ability to interact with and educate healthcare professionals.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, preferably in a relevant field.
  • ABPI Qualified.
