Job Description

Ashfield currently has a fantastic opportunity to work as a Pharmacy Sales Representative as part of a new Team Build.

Ashfield is proud to be partnering with Alchem Life – a global leader in the field of Phytoceuticals to recruit a team of Pharmacy Sales Representatives across the UK. The Alchem Life Pharmacy team will be responsible for promoting Alchem Life brands (Flexiqule & Phytorelief) to independent retail pharmacies. The successful candidates will establish strong relationships with independent pharmacies and deliver training and support to ensure that the store and its staff are fully equipped to educate patients and maximise sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • To achieve sales and distribution targets as specified by the National Sales Manager.
  • To identify opportunities for the effective merchandising of the products and / or the provision of added value activities such as training/education that enables the pharmacy to maximize sales of the products.
  • To achieve targeted daily call rates and establish calling patterns in line with company policy that deliver optimal return on Investment.
  • To use the company CRM and order system to record all calls, transfer orders and journey plan.
  • To share feedback and insight from customers with AlchemLife in order to develop and execute exceptional customer activity.
  • To monitor sales on the territory and within each account to ensure territory business is on track to meet its annual target.

Essential Skills

  • Educated to Degree level
  • Prior experience of selling within a pharmacy environment is preferred
  • Drive and motivation to work as a key member in a small team
  • Results oriented – Commercially aware with good negotiation skills
  • Confident communicator
