Job Description

Ashfield is currently recruiting for a Field Coach on behalf of our client, GSK. Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting and coaching the field force on all aspects of sales and account management in order to maximise effectiveness and in call quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take personal accountability to understand the following in sufficient depth to be able to effectively coach aligned Sales Representatives (SRs) to competitively sell (1:1 and 1:many)
  • Develop the knowledge and skills of aligned SRs by working with local FLSMs to diagnose areas for development and addressing these through field coaching and input into FLSM-led differentiated development plans
  • Build capability & confidence in aligned SRs on customer access and territory management
  • Coaching aligned SRs to develop and lead the delivery of customer advocacy plans and plans for optimizing and sustaining market access.
  • Embed new ways of working in our HCPE model and continuously seek better ways to engage and competitively sell to our customers more effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide regional learning consolidation sessions for SRs leaving the Respiratory Training Cycle.
  • Liaise with RBD and national Selling Excellence to ensure coaching interventions address regional needs and align with agreed national development programme, utilizing Global L & D support as required.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience of assignment delivery and performance.
  • Experience working in secondary care.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Coaching experience.
  • Respiratory therapy area knowledge and experience.
