Job Description

Ashfield are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of MSD for a Vaccine Account Executive within their Vaccines portfolio. Ashfield are looking for high calibre candidates with an excellent telephone manner, clear communication skills, a real desire and commitment to deliver the requirements of the role. The ability to build rapport quickly with high quality attention to detail is essential in this role coupled with an empathetic manner to the pressures placed on the Healthcare Professionals and the ancillary staff.

Based in our Commercial Contact Centre you will be involved directly in contacting a pre-defined list of customers within the NHS to support their vaccine clinics, promote the vaccine portfolio and offer any additional services to aid in this.  In addition to making outbound calls, the Customer Sales Representative will if needed, deal with incoming customer enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • To promote products assigned to the team, as defined by the Company, to Healthcare Professionals within predefined target list
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the relevant product and diseases area to facilitate detailed discussions with medical professionals in primary care
  • Establish, maintain and develop strong relationships with customers and in key predefined accounts
  • Understand and remain updated on the NHS environment
  • Achieve sales and activity targets as set by the client/company
  • Provide the Ashfield Contact Centre Business Manager with accurate and timely weekly/monthly activity data
  • Maintain excellent quality standards for all client programs; adhere to program scripts and guidelines
  • Exhibit effective communication and tele-management skills. Converse with callers in an empathetic manner and facilitate the callers in their ability to understand medical terminology, as needed
  • Possess effective organisational skills, including working with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and in adherence with the company dress code
  • Deal with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner

Essential Skills

  • Graduate
  • Experience in a Customer Service/Sales role
  • Positive and professional customer service attitude
  • Confident IT user
  • Evidence of good written and spoken English
  • Demonstrable track record in achieving business related targets
  • Previous telesales/customer service experience desirable
  • Previous experience in providing support to a sales force desirable.
  • Experience of dealing with HCPs – preferable
