Ashfield Healthcare are proud to be working with Grunenthal to recruit a Clinical Nurse Trainer to cover the UK. Key Responsibilities

  • This role supports the clinical training requirements of the products designated by the client company.
  • Train healthcare professionals in the use of the Zalviso delivery device for patient controlled analgesia and other designated products as decided by the client company. 
  • To support ongoing training requirements in the use of Zalviso and other products designated by the client company at centres.
  • To fully document all  interactions in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • To be pro-active and able to work under own initiative, whilst helping to maximise the potential of the team.
  • Work across territories to support colleagues for Annual Leave or sickness and where necessary stay overnight.
  • To comply with the Adverse Event procedures and Product Complaint Procedures of Ashfield Health Care and the client company in respect of all matters relating to Pharmacovigilance and Quality Assurance.
  • To communicate with and develop relationships with key nursing staff and medical staff at all organisations for the delivery of training and support.
  • Attend Ashfield national nurse team meetings and project training as required.
  • Undertake all Ashfield and client company mandatory training.
  • Maintain all equipment and materials that are provided in accordance with company procedures.
  • Complete all necessary administration in a timely and accurate manner, particularly in relation to activity reporting, information feedback and expenses.
  • Adhere to company dress policy and wear Ashfield identification badge at all times where appropriate.
  • Undertake other tasks and assignments which may be required by the Nurse Manager or Company as discussed and agreed.
  • Comply with the relevant regulatory guidelines including the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code and the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry Code of Practice.

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience of delivering training sessions to healthcare professionals
  • Experience of working in a specialist area
  • Must have a current UK driving license
