Job Description

Ashfield Healthcare UK is currently recruiting for a HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team based at our head office in Ashby De La Zouch. It’s a varied role involving all areas of HR administration. The successful candidate will ideally have worked in an administration role previously and will enjoy working as part of a busy HR Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update general HR administration and employee HR records
  • Maintain HR database and filing systems, e.g. employee records, Right to Work documentation, visa and work permits
  • Process starters including sending out contracts and offer letters and new starter packs in line with service level agreements. Ensure all documents are returned.
  • Processes transfers and ensure documentation is signed and returned
  • Process leavers including arranging leaver appointments 
  • Ensure HR systems is updated with all changes
  • Respond to employee queries in a professional, efficient and effective manner
  • Provide other administrative support to HR Department when required

Essential Skills

  • GCSE / O’Level Mathematics and English required (Grade C or above).
  • Previous administration experience is essential.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Database systems.
