Job Description

Ashfield is currently recruiting for a Hospital Account Manager in Surrey, West Sussex and South West London on behalf of ConvaTec.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of sales targets across territory.
  • Represent ConvaTec professionally at all times.
  • Demonstrates in-depth clinical and product knowledge within key indication areas.
  • Produce specific account growth plans detailing actions and resources.
  • Build comprehensive Business plans with matrix team.
  • Maximise the clinical access to key brands through formulary inclusions or clinical pathways.
  • Drive and support product implementation across care settings.
  • Ensure correct and competent use of ConvaTec brands by identifying Wound Progression Model training opportunities.
  • Initiate and drive product evaluations through liaisons with key clinical decision makers and working with Medical Affairs colleague.
  • Support the development of business cases for financing of products through liaison with key clinical decision makers in conjunction with HDMs.

Essential Skills

  • Selling experience within medical/pharma industry.
  • Experience of Primary care or Secondary Care.
  • Demonstrated skill in working with different levels and types of customer groups and influencing key decision makers.
  • Demonstrates skills at meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Understanding of how to run territory to meet business objectives and manage additional projects.
  • Satisfactorily completes self-managed projects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of PC’s to include windows, spread sheets, PowerPoint, and electronic territory management system.
  • Ability to demonstrate good understanding of NHS developments, health reforms, competitor and own product knowledge to colleagues.
