Job Description

Ashfield Healthcare are proud to be working with Sanofi to recruit a Multichannel Hospital Specialist. This is very exciting and fulfilling opportunity to work within a Secondary Care setting where the focus will be to deliver high quality face to face interactions, and interactive eDetails within two specific disease areas.

We are seeking experienced Hospital Representatives to lead the development and implementation of local business plans, aligned with regional and national brand objectives, within the Sanofi General Medicines division

Key Responsibilities

  • Excellent telephone manner, clear communication skills, a real desire and commitment to consistently over achieve any requirements of the role
  • To build rapport quickly and then capitalise upon the forming relationship is an essential requirement for this role, coupled with the desire to deliver on behalf of Ashfield and the Client
  • Experience in a Secondary Care setting, either field based or previous e-detailing experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of the NHS environment
  • Excellent business planning and account management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • be self-motivated
    • plan and organise time effectively
    • achieve sales success
  • Evidence of being able to work in a flexible way to manage shifting priorities

Essential Skills

  • To conduct both interactive eDetails and field face to face sales interactions on behalf of our client, thus effectively managing your time for maximum outputs
  • Delivering high quality calls within two specific disease areas
  • To make outbound calls to Healthcare Professionals in order to promote key products
  • Dealing with all incoming enquiries and questions, ensuring that clinicians have the information in order to further grow the sales of the product
  • Promoting brands to healthcare professionals, developing advocacy and influence across assigned accounts
  • Updating CRM/Client based system with all customer activity, maintaining with consistency using predefined call parameters.
  • Understanding and remain updated on the NHS environment
  • To achieve sales and activity targets as set by the client/company
  • To be fully conversant with current strategies for individual client project
  • Utilising all relevant promotional literature as part of the sales process.
  • Providing the National Sales Manager with accurate and timely weekly/monthly activity data
  • Liaising with all relevant personnel within Ashfield Healthcare Limited and the client company
  • Adhering to all Ashfield Healthcare minimum standards and SOP’s
  • Maintaining excellent quality standards for all client programs; adhere to program scripts and guidelines for interactive eDetailing
  • To demonstrate a high degree of knowledge within your specialist therapy area and employ a range of promotional tactics to successfully develop prescribing among the customers you work with
  • To contribute positively to the sales team and broader account team you work within, to build strong business plans and deliver effectively against them
