Job Description

Ashfield Healthcare are proud to be working with our client to recruit a Hybrid Representative to cover the London/ South East territory. This is a great opportunity for a primary care account manager to utilise multichannel approaches to deliver face to face calls, meetings and interactive platform detailing to promote products in line with healthcare professional preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • To conduct both interactive eDetails and field face to face sales interactions on behalf of our client, thus effectively managing your time for maximum outputs
  • Deliver high quality calls within Vaginal atrophy disease area (Women’s Health)
  • Make outbound calls to Healthcare Professionals in order to promote key products
  • Deal with all incoming enquiries and questions, ensuring that clinicians have the information in order to further grow the sales of the product
  • Promote brand to healthcare professionals, developing advocacy and influence across assigned accounts
  • Update Contact Centre CRM/CARE2 system with all customer activity, maintaining with consistency using predefined call parameters.
  • Understand and remain updated on the NHS environment
  • Achieve sales and activity targets as set by the client/company
  • To be fully conversant with current strategies for individual client project
  • Utilise all relevant promotional literature as part of the sales process.
  • Provide the Business Manager with accurate and timely weekly/monthly activity data
  • Liaise with all relevant personnel within Ashfield Healthcare Limited and the client company
  • Adhere to all Ashfield Healthcare minimum standards and SOP’s
  • Maintain excellent quality standards for all client programs; adhere to program scripts and guidelines for interactive eDetailing
  • To demonstrate a high degree of knowledge within your specialist therapy area and employ a range of promotional tactics to successfully develop prescribing among the customers you work with
  • To contribute positively to the sales team and broader account team you work within, to build strong business plans and deliver effectively against them
  • To create business plans for defind territory and utilize for highest ROI

Essential Skills

  • Degree level education (or equivalent)
  • ABPI Qualified
  • Ability to plan strategically and logically
  • Knowledge of the drivers surrounding key accounts
  • Demonstration of knowledge and understanding of selected accounts, customer needs and the business implications for the Client
  • Excellent telephone manner, clear communication skills, a real desire and commitment to consistently over achieve any requirements of the role
  • To build rapport quickly and then capitalise upon the forming relationship is an essential requirement for this role, coupled with the desire to deliver on behalf of Ashfield and the Client
  • Experience in a secondary care setting, either field based or previous e-detailing experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of the NHS environment
  • Excellent business planning and account management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • be self-motivated
    • plan and organise time effectively
    • achieve sales success
  • Evidence of being able to work in a flexible way to manage shifting priorities
