Job Description

Ashfield is currently recruiting for an Account Manager on behalf of BSN. The first point of contact to sell the full range of BSN medical wound care / compression therapy products into established and new accounts in line with company growth expectations in the hospital & community markets; to effectively manage a geographical territory to maximise sales and customer relationship opportunities; to collect and analyse competitor and customer market data to better inform the wider business and specifically improve territory performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • To achieve territory sales targets in line with company expectations
  • To manage and grow territory accounts through tactical business planning.
  • To identify new account opportunities through effective market analysis and competitor knowledge & develop influential relationships with decision making units.
  • To promote the full range of allocated products and services through successful interpretation of the BSN medical Therapy Approach.
  • To deliver BSN medical’s educational service to relevant customer groups under the BSN medical educational platform Cutimed / Jobst Academy.
  • To identify and share best practice with sales and marketing colleagues under the One BSN medical theme  
  • Identification and development of Key Opinion Leader relationships and key account sponsorship at territory level.
  • To provide accurate and meaningful management information on territory activities, fully integrated in to CRM in line with company expectations.
  • To represent BSN Medical in a positive & professional manner at all times
  • Adherence to company administrative processes and policies

Essential Skills

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Experience in Wound Care &/or Compression is essential
  • A commercial and creative approach to business, with a friendly, customer focus
  • Competence in the use of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn internal data warehouse package systems to download territory sales data.
  • Commercial acumen including development & execution of business plans.
